Building on Part I, this Breakout focuses on pricing in matters where uncertainty, complexity and case dynamics make value assessment more challenging. Participants will explore how AI-powered tools — from early case assessment to document review and predictive analytics — affect cost drivers and client expectations. The session provides practical guidance on structuring fee models for high-stakes disputes and investigations.

Miles Orton is a trial lawyer at the litigation boutique Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell LLP, based in Denver, Colorado and practicing across the United States. Before joining Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell, he practiced in the New York City and Paris offices of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, focusing on litigation, arbitration, and investigations. Miles advises clients on the intersection of AI and legal practice, leads research of AI developments and products, and deploys AI in high-stakes litigation and arbitration.

Anna Eidvall specialises in tech law, with a particular focus on privacy, data protection and the use of AI in commercial contexts. She regularly advises clients on data and AI strategies in transactional contexts, where technology increasingly shapes deal execution, due diligence and post-acquisition integration. In addition, she frequently assists clients in sharpening and executing their data protection strategies, including in interactions with data protection authorities, supervisory proceedings and regulatory matters.
